Merging traditional R&B with the vibes of the new age Pop/R&B, Kerry D and Lyndon Jamez come together to create this amazing sound. This duo was first seen on Season 2 of Chasing Dallas (2020), a web-series reality show based in the city. When RM8 dropped their EP "Boyz Next Door" October 2020 it debuted #12 on the iTunes R&B/Soul Charts.
Kerry and Lyndon formed a strong bond in High School through music, acting, and being rebellious queer teens that love Beyoncé. Sharing their visions for their own future, would eventually lead these two to form the duo RM8 also known as roommate.
Inspired by artists such as Donny Hathaway, Brandy and Sia, Lyndon’s tone and writing skills help cultivate his buttery soulful and unique style. While being influenced by artists such as Faith Evans, Stokley from Mint Condition and Kelly Price, Kerry channels the emotion and vocal range in every song he sings.
